Good for you Gourmet is Victoria's first organic, whole foods, personal chef and catering company. We prepare nutritious, delicious meals and menus for our clients, based on seasonal, local whole foods ingredients. At the Good for you Gourmet, we believe it is a chef’s responsibility to use only non-toxic, health-supporting ingredients in the foods we prepare for our clients, and we have integrated this belief into every aspect of the services we offer. Chef Laura is skilled with vegan, vegetarian, Ayurvedic, Okinawa & Mediterranean fare, whole foods, and multiple allergy diets. With all our menus, we use only non-gmo, non-irradiated herbs and spices, natural fats, and cold pressed oils. Five Elements Cooking offers a variety of services.They are personal chef,cooking instructions,onsite catering and retreat cooking. A personal chef service involves coming up with a customized menu, the grocery shopping is provided,then the meals will be prepared in your kitchen, ending with a thourough clean-up. Five Elements will provide private or group cooking classes in your home or a rented location. Need help with a dinner party ? Five Elements Cooking can prepare gourmet meals for a group of up to twenty people, in your home or at another facility. Chef Sonja has an extensive back ground in vegetarian cooking. Her background includes working at The Naam Restautant (Vancouver ) and Hollyhock Farms ( Cortes Island ). Chef Sonja's expertise is with special diets like no dairy, no wheat, candia and celiac diet.She has a great passion for cooking and a concern about health and proper nutrition for her clients.
